    Description

    A wonderful, and nicely styled piece from Stanley Ballard of Burlington, VT. Stamped on bottom
    In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. It shows the glazing style he often employed with off white base and brown spatters.
    Vase is approximately 6 inches long at top, 3 inches deep, and 7 inches tall.
    Stanley Ballard was an Alfred University graduate in ceramics in 1939. Ballard was an old family of potters, beginning with Orin, Alfred K. and Haria Ballard, brothers who purchased a pottery company in Burlington, Vermont in 1850.
